In view of the fact that our company, AJJ & Co. Private Limited, is newly incorporated, it may not be able to compete with the stronger competitors that had been in the industry for a long time. However, our company will be able to provide better control and efficiency when dealing with shares and securities, due to the fact that we have experienced staffs. Furthermore, we are confident that our marketing and operation plans will be able to attract more clients and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the company.
Risks are relatively high when dealing with shares and securities if the focus is only on a single type of share or security. However, risks can be minimised when investments are diversified into different shares and securities. This will prevent investors from suffering heavy losses when the share price of their investment drops. Our staffs will be able to provide proper advice so as to minimise the chance of such events.
There are a number of factors which will affect the extent of moderation of the Singapore economy. These factors include the slowdown in the global semiconductor cycle, concerns over a possible hard landing in China, and lingering high oil prices. However, we remain optimistic about the stock market since the growth of US, Japan and China remain healthy. In addition, with reference to Figure 1, the stock market is likely to be in a good condition.
Regulatory Framework
Our company is governed by the Securities and Futures Act. The Act provides mandatory requirements that our company need to follow. This includes the criteria to apply for a capital markets services licence and the period of the license etc.
